S. P. Mandali’s R. A. Podar College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai, hosted Moneta 2025 from 10–13 December 2025, featuring 13 competitions focused on financial literacy, analytical thinking, and decision-making.
VVM’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics participated with two teams:
- Casabiance – B.Com.
- Lisbon – BBA(FS)
Both teams performed commendably, with many students reaching the finals. The BBA(FS) team, Lisbon, won the 2nd Runners-Up Trophy and secured:
- 1st Place in Biases in Balance – Ms. Joanisa Fernandes
- 2nd Place in Fund Maverick – Mr. Nikhil Raut and Mr. Jaister Fernandes
- 3rd Place in Diplomatic Arena – Ms. Diksha Chadda and Mr. Rosh Fernandes
The B.Com. team, Casabiance, also earned:
- 2nd Place in Corporate Verdict – Mr. Rahul Raikar and Ms. Shravani Gaude
- 2nd Place in Deal That Never Was – Mr. Satvik Hegde
- 3rd Place in Bank Quest – Ms. Diya Borkar and Mr. Satvik Hegde
Participation in Moneta 2025 was a valuable learning experience that enhanced students’ financial knowledge, confidence, teamwork, leadership, and competitive spirit, while bringing laurels to the institution.
