R.A.Podar College of commerce and economics Mumbai organized National level intercollegiate financial event from 5th Dec 2014 to 8th Dec 2014. The students of VVM’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce And Economics, BBA (FS)/BBS (FS) department, two contingents of 12 students each participated for the same accompanied by two faculty members Miss Snehal G. Jadhav, Asst Professor in Finance and Miss Sneha D.Lotlikar, Asst Professor in Finance.

The teams along with the accompanied teachers left for Mumbai from Margao railway station on 4th Dec 2014 at 17:55 by Konkan kanya express (train no: 10112) and reached Dadar-Mumbai on 5th Dec 2014 at 5:50 am. The financial festival started on 5th Dec with an inaugural function followed by events and seminars on the successive days. Moneta aspires to provide students a platform to showcase their talent in the area of financial service sector by way of competitions and seminars. The closing ceremony was held on 8th Dec 2014 at 7pm.

The students of VVM’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce And Economics enthusiastically participated in the events. Master Shashank Shet Raikar of third year BBS (FS) bagged second place for CFO Challenge, Master Amresh Valgekar and Master Shashank Shet Raikar of third year BBS(FS) together bagged second place for Financial planner and Master Shaizad Ahmed and Galeno D’costa of First Year BBA (FS) bagged third place for Carbon Credit Czar. Miss Avita Naronha of first year BBA (FS) and Trisha George of second year BBA (FS) received 4th place for Carbon Credit Czar and Master Allauddin Nimbargi of Second Year BBA (FS) and Mehboob Khan of First Year BBA (FS) received 4th place for Bull ring.

The teams left for Goa on 9th Dec 2014 at 10 pm from CST Mumbai by Mangalore express (train no: 12133) and reached Goa on 10th Dec 2014 at 7am.
