Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, organized ‘Kavyanand’, a program of poetry recitation for college students, providing a platform for students to present their own poetry. It was held on 24th July 2026 in the Conference Hall of Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, at 6:30 pm. Three students from our college participated in the same.
Ms Arya Naik from TYBCA and Ms Alnaz Khan from TYBCom presented their poetry in English, and Ms Mithali Raikar from TYBCom presented her poetry in Konkani.
There were a total of 12 participants from four different colleges. The session was chaired by a renowned Konkani poet, Mr Uday Mhambre. He encouraged the budding poets and appreciated them for their thoughts, which were reflected in their poems. Mr Mhambre also spoke about his life as a poet and presented four of his best poems.
Expected Outcome of the Activity:
This was a very good platform for the students to present their poetry and to listen to poems written by others.
