To Commemorate MSME day celebrated on 27th June, the Entrepreneurship & Startup Development Cell and Institution’s Innovation Council organised an Entrepreneurship Awareness and Experience Sharing Session for students of the college. Resource persons for the session were Mr. Arman Bankley, Director of AR-mine’s group, and Mr. Amey Amshekar, Businessman and Founder Director of Samruddhi Foundation.
At the start of the session, Mr. Amey Amshekar spoke about the field of entrepreneurship and the opportunities it offers. He advised the students to start small and take benefit of various social media platforms to grow their business. He also listed various government schemes for entrepreneurs initiated by State and Central Government.
Mr. Arman Bankley shared his life journey as an entrepreneur and detailed his experience of doing business over 30 years. He shared how he established a business in Goa which was later affected by the mining ban. He also explained how he turned this into an opportunity and pivoted to new business verticals. His rich experience from beginning as an engineering graduate until handling a multi-vertical business house showed the scope of growth offered by entrepreneurship.
Mr. Shreyas Desai, Convenor of ESDC and IIC, proposed the Vote of Thanks.
