The Staff Recreation Cell of the College organised the “Know Your Colleagues (KYC)” Program on 24 July 2026 at 12:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Hall. The program saw active participation from 46 teaching and non-teaching staff members of the College. The activity was organised to foster better interaction, strengthen interpersonal relationships, and promote a sense of camaraderie among colleagues.
The program commenced with a Welcome Address by Ms Sheryl Sanches, who welcomed all the teaching and non-teaching staff members present for the program. Following the distribution of refreshments, the participants enthusiastically engaged in a series of interactive activities designed to encourage teamwork, communication, and familiarity among colleagues.
The first activity was an ice-breaker session conducted by Ms Sushrusha Khandekar and Ms Diksha Malvanker. During this session, participants were provided with a crossword puzzle sheet, while the clues and questions were displayed on the screen. The crossword puzzle consisted of clues related to the names, roles, and responsibilities of teaching and non-teaching staff members of the College. The activity generated considerable excitement and participation, with all participants attempting to solve the puzzle. One participant successfully answered all ten questions correctly and was presented with a prize in appreciation of the achievement.
The program then continued with a College Trivia Quiz. Participants were asked a variety of questions related to the College, including its history, activities, and various institutional aspects. The staff members actively participated and displayed their knowledge of the institution. Prizes were awarded for each correct answer, which further enhanced the enthusiasm and engagement of the participants.
The final activity of the program was the Curtain Game conducted by Ms Sheryl Sanches and Ms Seeya Naik. The participants were divided into two teams comprising twelve members each. One participant from each team stood on opposite sides of a curtain. As the curtain was lowered, the participants were required to quickly identify and call out the name of the person standing opposite them. The participant who correctly identified the other person first earned a point for their team. The activity was marked by friendly competition, laughter, and active involvement from all participants. Team A emerged as the winner of the game.
The program was highly engaging and successfully created an atmosphere of enjoyment and interaction among the staff members. The participants enthusiastically took part in all the activities, and cheerful participation, broad smiles, and positive energy characterized the event. The memorable moments of the program were captured through photographs.
The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms Sheryl Sanches, who expressed her gratitude to all the participants and organizers for their wholehearted support and enthusiastic involvement in making the program a success.
