The Department of Physical Education and Sports took the initiative to organize a Football League Cup (Men) for SDCCE students on 13th, 14th and 15th July 2026, from 11:00 am onwards. The teams were formed based on the auctions conducted by the different team owners. The staff of SDCCE were given a chance to be an owner of the respective team and form their team based on the auctions. The tournament was held at the Vidya Vikas Mandal Ground, behind VVA. A total of 8 teams participated in the tournament, with each team consisting of 19 players, including the owner.

- Shield United (Team Owner: Mr. Adarsh Haibati- Faculty)
- Phoenix FC (Team Owner: Sanjay Velip- Faculty)
- Prime 11 (Team Owner: Mr. Gilbert Mendes- Faculty)
- Crown United (Team Owner: Mr. Andre Pacheco- Faculty)
- Blackstone FC (Team Owner: Dr. Gajanan Haldankar- Faculty)
- Bambolino FC (Team Owner: Mr. Clifford D’Costa- Faculty)
- Arsenal (Team Owner: Mr. Harish Borkar- Office)
The tournament was inaugurated with an introduction by Dr. Ajinkya Kudtarkar, the College Director of Physical Education and Sports. All the preliminary matches were played as per league system and the semi-finals and finals were on a knockout basis. Groups were formed by drawing lots. Each match consisted of two halves, each lasting 10 minutes, with a 2-minute break in between. However, the semi-finals and finals were extended to 15 minutes per half.

The winners and runners-up were awarded trophies and medals. The Best Player and Best Goalkeeper also awarded trophies. All prizes were distributed in the presence of the Damodar College faculty members. The results were announced by Mr. Saurabh Raikar, Instructor in Physical Education. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Dr. Ajinkya Kudtarkar, College Director of Physical Education & Sports.
