Session on “Bridging Continents, Building Opportunities: Understanding the India-EU Free Trade Agreement”

The Investor Hub of the BBA (Financial Services) Department organized an informative session titled “Bridging Continents, Building Opportunities: Understanding the India-EU Free Trade Agreement” on 4th July 2026 starting at 10:45 a.m. in Hall No. 2 at SDCCE. The session was conducted by TY BBA(FS) students Mr. Shivam Naik Gaonkar and Mr. Yatik Raikar under the faculty in-charge Mr. Adarsh Haibati, promoting peer learning and active student leadership.

The session was designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the India-European Union Free Trade Agreement, exploring its broader economic implications, market opportunities, and international trade dynamics. The presenters broke down complex international trade concepts, highlighting key features, potential benefits, and the strategic significance of the agreement for businesses and financial markets.

The activity aimed at enhancing practical knowledge, economic awareness, public speaking, and critical thinking among students. The interactive nature of the session helped foster active engagement, encouraging participants to analyze global trade policies and expand their understanding of international commerce.

Upon completion of the activity, students were able to comprehend the practical implications of international trade agreements and economic policies. They developed enhanced awareness of global market opportunities, improved communication skills, and confidence in discussing international financial and trade landscapes.
