TechNation 2026, a national-level IT fest organized by the Department of Computer Science at Shree Damodar College, Margao, Goa, was held on 16–17 January 2026 under the theme “From Prompt to Possibilities.” It aimed to promote innovation, technical skills, and the practical use of AI among undergraduate students.
The event saw participation from 91 students across 8 colleges and featured a wide range of activities including coding, debugging, UI/UX design, quizzes, gaming, data analytics, video editing, and creative competitions. Key highlights included Code-A-Thon, Q-Bit (idea pitching), PowerBit (data analysis), and a robot project demonstrating AI-based solutions.
The fest was supported by industry experts as judges and guests, and included interactive elements like campus stalls and fun activities. Team Rosary College, Navelim won the competition, followed by St. Aloysius College, Mangaluru.
Outcome:
Participants enhanced problem-solving, technical, teamwork, communication, and modern tool usage skills, while developing a mindset for continuous learning and innovation.
