The Department of Computer Science organized an educational visit from 18th to 22nd December 2025 to Kochi, Kalamassery, and Munnar, attended by 21 students and two faculty members. The visit aimed to provide exposure to innovation ecosystems, research facilities, and academic best practices.
On Day 1, students visited Maker Village, CUSAT, and CDAC, gaining insights into startup incubation, supercomputing, VR applications, and government technology initiatives.
Day 2 included a visit to Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, where students learned about academic excellence, industry-linked learning, sustainability practices, and skill development initiatives.
Days 3 and 4 involved travel to Munnar, where students explored tea plantations and spice gardens, combining environmental learning with recreation.
The visit concluded on 22nd December with the group returning to Goa. Overall, the tour provided practical exposure, enhanced understanding of industry-academia collaboration, and motivated students towards higher education, innovation, and career development.
