The Staff Recreation and the Staff Welfare Club organised and celebrated Diwali with great enthusiasm on 24th October 2025. The celebration featured a range of exciting competitions, including Pikan Narkasur, Decor-a-desk and Diwali delight. The purpose behind hosting these competitions was to celebrate the essence of Diwali and to provide an opportunity to the participants to showcase their creativity and talent.
Following were the winners of the Pikan Narkasur competition 1st place- Harish and Group
2nd place- Adarsh and Group and 3rd place- Gajanan and group. Decor-a-desk, 1st place- BCA Department, 2nd place- BBA department and 3rd place-M.Com Department. Diwali delight- 1st place- Twinkle, Marjina and Padma (M.com) 2nd Place- Sneha (BCA) and 3rd place- Snehal & Ashwini.
The event was beautifully compered by Ms. Sushrusha Naik, Assistant Professor in BBA( FS), who skillfully guided the proceedings and kept the audience engaged. To further enhance the festive excitement, spot prizes were announced, and the winners of all the competitions were awarded special prizes for their exceptional performance.
The recreational club also organized refreshments in line with the Diwali theme, adding a delicious touch to the celebrations. A series of competitions added a creative spark to the entire Diwali celebrations and was enjoyed by all staff members of the College. The entire event was meticulously planned and organized by Ajinkya Kudtarkar and Samira Vengurlekar faculty member of staff Welfare and Recreation Club.
