The Staff Welfare Cell and The Staff Recreation Club of our college, together organised Navratri Celebrations from 22nd Sept 2025 to 1st Oct 2025 for all the Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of the college. The objective of the celebrations was to bring about more fun and togetherness among all.
The Celebrations began by all staff getting into attires lighting up in the colors of Navratri Days and clicking group photographs on all days from 22nd Sept to 31st October 2025 in the college quadrangle.
Further on 1st October 2025, the celebrations were held in Hall 1. There were games, spot prizes and a Garba dance organised for all staff. Everyone wholeheartedly participated in the games, spot prizes and the dance and had a fun filled day. Games organised were aimed to bring togetherness among individuals to come together in the spirit of playing the games. Games included a Quiz on Days of Colors of Navratri and Spot Prizes included Most Colourful Dress, Two Members having opposite colours and anyone having a combination of Purple colour attire with a smartwatch/ specs. All participants were given chocolates and the winners were given gifts.
The second part of the celebration included a garba dance for all staff, with two students as beginners in showing the dance steps to the staff. Everyone enjoyed the same. Further at the end of the Celebrations all staff relished tasty snacks served to them. The snacks included Kachori with Chutney, Dhokla, Jalebi and Thepla.
The comperes for the celebration, games and spot prizes were Ms. Swati Bhat and Ms. Sweta P. Shet Verenkar. All the members of the Staff Recreation Club and The Staff Welfare Cell successfully executed the tasks of the Navratri Celebrations, making it a grand success.
Expected Outcome of the Activity: Increasing the Bonding between staff through recreation activities to team up and enjoy and relax at workplace through the medium of celebration.
