To mark the occasion of World Nature Conservation Day, the NSS Unit and Vasundhara Green Club of the college collaboratively organized an inter-class competition titled “EcoCraft Fiesta 2025 ” on 28th July 2025 in Hall No. 1. The objective of the event was to promote awareness on environmental sustainability and to encourage students to engage in nature conservation through creative expression.
A total of 16 teams, consisting of students from various programme enthusiastically participated in the competition. The event focused on encouraging students to create eco-friendly products using waste materials, promoting the concept of “wealth out of waste.” Participants used recyclable and discarded items to design innovative and sustainable utility products, decorative items, and art pieces. The activity aimed to nurture creativity while spreading awareness about reuse, recycling, and responsible consumption.
The entries were evaluated by Ms. Sushrusha Naik Khandekar and Dr. Nikita Shet Verenkar, who shared constructive feedback and appreciated the efforts of all the participants.
The competition concluded with the declaration of results and group photographs. The event witnessed active involvement from the faculty and positive feedback from both students and staff.

Expected Outcome of the Activity:
The competition is expected to inspire students to adopt eco-conscious habits, raise awareness about nature conservation, and contribute actively to sustainable practices both on and off campus.
