NSS( National Service Scheme) organised a talk on Disaster Management on 2nd October 2015 .The speaker on the occasion was Shri. Nitin Raiker, Deputy Director, Directorate of Fire & Emergency Services, Govt. of Goa.
Ms.Namrata Haldankar introduced the guest speaker to the students. Shri.Nitin Raiker in his speech spoke about the meaning of disaster, types of disaster, agencies involved for the rescue & rehabilitation programs in case of disaster and what needs to be done in case disaster occurs. He also shared some valuable inputs. Ms. Lina Sadekar, NSS Officer proposed the vote of thanks.
