The Third Year B.Com students of VVM’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics visited the Monginis factory at Verna Industrial Estate on 16th January 2016 as a part of their Industrial Management Project. 41 students along with Asst. Professor Prachi P Kolamker visited the factory. The students got an opportunity to interact with the workers and have an insight into how a factory actually works. They were exposed to the various processes of cake making from refining of raw materials, baking of cake, garnishing of cake to how it is stored and dispatched to various outlets across Goa and neighboring states. The employees were very co-operative and answered all the queries raised by the students. It was a learning activity and helped the students to understand theoretical concepts learned in the classroom more clearly and precisely. We are thankful to HR Manager Laxmikanth Kambli who co-ordinated with our Students.
