The Inter-Collegiate Taekwondo championship of Goa University was held at Jubilee Hall, Goa University from 4 to 7 September 2018. More than 25 teams from different colleges across Goa took part in this tournament.
Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics secured Second Runners up position with 1 Gold, 1 Silver, 3 Bronze medals in the Men’s category.
The participants who won medals are as follows:
Subodh Revenkar – Gold Medal
Anish Borkar – Silver Medal
Vishnu Rasur – Bronze Medal
Austin Gama – Bronze Medal
Kamlesh Purohit – Bronze Medal
Mr. Ajinkya Kudtarkar was the Manager of the team, assisted by Mr. Mano Shelke.
Dr. Prita Mallya, Principal of the college, and Mr. Vikram Verlekar Chairman of Vidya Vikas Mandal Sports Council of Shree Damodar College Margao, congratulated the Manager, Mr Habib Shaikh (Sports Secretary), Mr. Subodh Revenkar (Taekwondo Team Captain) and all the team players for their achievement in this tournament.
