A Talk on “Career Opportunities in the Indian Air Force”

The Career and Placement Cell of VVM’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics  organized a session on “Career Opportunities in  the Indian Air Force” for  B.Com Students on 10th January 2019. In today’s environment of multiple options, knowledge about choices available helps students in their decision-making process. In view of this the Career and Placement Cell of the College had invited Wing Commander Snehal S. Kamat an ex-student of the College,  to address students on career opportunities  in the Indian Air Force. The session commenced with introduction of the Speaker by Dr. Maithili Naik, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Commerce. The session aimed at making the audience aware of the career options available in Indian Air Force. Wing Commander Snehal S. Kamat shared information regarding his personal experience on how he became a part of the Indian Air Force. Wing Cdr Kamat urged the students not to make decisions based on family expectations and peer pressure. The session was informative and enriching for around 75 students who were eagerly listening to the Talk which lasted nearly for an hour and a half. The session concluded with an interactive session, which was followed by the vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Marjina Shaikh, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Commerce
